The U 4.40 is a deep vacuum, wet displacement pump designed to operate on a continuous duty basis. It utilizes self-lubricating, graphite composite vanes, and requires only minimal maintenance.
The simple design of the single-shaft direct drive produces a powerful, long-lasting pump with extremely low maintenance and operating costs.
The rotary vane vacuum pumps are equipped with an integrated non-return valve and an efficient oil-gas separation system, which allows the installation of additional accessories without any problems.
The circulating oil lubrication system with integrated oil cooler and protective cover as standard features minimizes noise emissions.
The return oil suction system controlled by a float valve also makes these vacuum pumps suitable for low vacuum applications.
The optional water cooling system significantly extends the service life of the oil, even under difficult ambient conditions.
The optional gas ballast valve prevents contamination of the pump oil by condensed vapors.
Oil-water emulsions created by contaminants reduce the efficiency of the pump or cause malfunctions.
The valve allows conditioned fresh air (gas ballast) to flow into the pump compression chamber. Condensation is suppressed by mixing the saturated intake air with unsaturated fresh air.
